It's been a while since last update from the previous post. We have been busy registering the society offically in Malaysia. On the 5th September 2016, MAPS is officially approved by JPPM under Seksyen 7 Akta Pertubuhan 1966 with registration number PPM-015-10-05092016.
To mark this occasion, we have been busy organising the first International Proteomics Conference 2017 in conjunction with the 4th Meeting of AOAPO. Further details will follow soon with diverse scientific programme and topics for everyone working in related field of proteomics to participant in this exciting event. It's been a long while since previous post. It has been over one year since our first meeting!
Today we met for the 10th time and made an important decision to register MAPS as an official society. Committee members were elected and watch out our future post for the official list. Everyone is welcomed to join MAPS as a member or any of the future workshop/conference! Hi all, please be informed that the workshop registration will be at Block E Orange building. If you're driving to UNMC, please park at the designated Lakeside Parking B as shown below. For those who take public transport, there will be shuttle bus pick up from Kajang KTM station as stated in previous post. Please install the following software if possible before coming to the workshop. It's recommended that your bring along a laptop running Windows.

Speaker Mr. Tobias Ternent EMBL-EBI Tobias is a curator for the PRIDE team (2013), and previously a curator for the ArrayExpress team (2011). Before joining the EMBL-EBI, he studied a Bachelor's in Computer Science from the University of Manchester (2005), and later a Master of BioHealth Informatics in the same department (2010) which involved collaboration with the KNH-Centre for Biomedical and Forensic Egyptology. Along the way, his working experience has included a few software companies, and in particular managing clinical trial data for AstraZeneca for translational informatics.
